I shared this with him, and he stopped complaining about his staffs' excuses. He said that he was making excuses, too, and needed to take action. At the same time, I realized that I am not 100% vested in my success, that I make excuses every day. This was a wonderful reminder that I can push myself further. Thank you for the reminder. I sit in a cubicle in corporate America everday seeing my dreams die in my imagination and I come up with excuse after excuse why I have quit and followed my passion. That was the best commercial I have ever seen! Just like the above guy said, I have heard people use those excuses but it hurts more to hear the ones I use and try to defend. Powerful stuff.
