Awesome play. Great concentration and a desire to not be denied. Not scoring was NOT an option. Head Coach Sean Peyton set the expectation level by going for it on 4th and goal from the 1 1/2 yard line. They didn’t make it, but he sent the message–we’re in it to win it. They held up–3 and out and ended up kicking a field goal anyway. The scor would have been 10-6 either way, but he sent the message to the team that he believed in them and he was willing to do anything to win the Super Bowl. It was infectious and the team grew in confidence and attitude. They didn’t second guess themselves anymore–they began to feel like they deserved it and then took it from the Colts. Good win.
